Carlos Beltran #36
Texas Ranger Carlos Beltran continues to prove that he is still a professional Major League Baseball hitter on top of his game in his 19th season at age 39. In the 1st inning at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Beltran hit a solo home run into the right field seats off Baltimore Orioles pitcher Kevin Gausman for his first hit and homer as a Ranger, and has now homered for seven different organizations.
QUOTE: "The fact that I got my first hit here, it's good. It's good to get it out of the way," Beltran said.
FACT: With this home run, Beltran reached exactly 1,500 runs scored, becoming only the 33rd player in MLB history to reach the 1,500/1,500 Runs/RBI plateau.
