San Diego Padres
Travis Jankowski #16
The speedy San Diego Padres rookie outfielder Travis Jankowski has quickly shown how he can impact a game in every facet at the Major League level. Jankowski, the Padres' spark plug, led off the first inning with a double to right field to begin a rally, and he eventually scored the first of three runs in the inning. Jankowski showcased his speed at the plate and on the bases by beating out an infield hit and stealing two bases. On the day, he was 2-4, Double, 3 Runs, BB, and 2 SB in a 12-3 win at San Diego?s Petco Park.
QUOTE: "That's my main goal - just get on base and let 2-3-4 drive me in," Jankowski said.
